This SL-28 variety separation lot from Brazil immediately peaked our interest when we were sourcing green coffee for our current menu. SL-28 is a variety that was originally selected for cultivation in Kenya  and subsequently spread across the world due to its desirable flavor profile. This is our first time roasting a lot of SL-28 grown in Brazil. 
We taste the red fruit flavors you expect from a Kenyan coffee with the  mild acidity, chocolate and nuts that you expect from a Brazilian coffee. It’s a great option for espresso and hand brews with medium to low acidity.
